All this is made possible by the latest film technology used at IMAX. The screen, the largest of its kind in the world, is quarter the size of a football field. The light from the projector is visible even on the Moon. The frame is 10 times larger than the 35mm used in a regular movie theatre.
IMAX uses a wrap-around 12,000 watt digital sound system. The 3D images virtually descend from the screen, putting the action of the movie within the reach of your hand. What’s more, a whole army of scientists and movie producers work on delivering brand new experiences that compare to the wildest adventures awaiting on the Earth or in the space.
IMAX creates a virtual world where spectators are allowed to taste the adventure that only real heroes could experience before. IMAX will leave you with an extraordinarily strong experience. Watching a movie about the depths of the undersea, you will feel the chill of sea water. Watching the shots of a plane navigated between the Himalayan peaks, you will find yourself losing balance.
